Has anyone ever used the CMC PT-35 power tilt & trim for their kicker motor? They are shown in Cabela's & Bass Pro. Good, Bad or other?

if it's the unit I'm thinking of, it is a nice unit It's rated for 35 max hp electric over hydralic.

You might want to take a look at the Panther model 35.
Ask the PWT pro's, the four strokes are destroying most of the other lifts. Don't take my word for it, Ask around.

EO is right . I've heard touring pros say, " Panther is the only one that works"

I have a 17' Boston Whaler. It's a great "nasty water" boat but not built with the fisherman in mind. I want to install a livewell in the front half, and never having had a livewell, don't know how they work. My dealer estimates 20 hours at $60 an hour shoptime which is out of the question.
I have a ton of questions. The boat has a transom that is 12" thick. Does the water pickup have to go through the transom or could it go through the floor? Where goes the drain? Are there "how to" instructions printed anywhere that I could reference? Anyone done this? Help!!!!!

Sorry to have messed up your thread, Pete. I was trying to post a new message and got it in the wrong place. I'm new here and it shows.

I've got an OMC hydraulic trim/tilt on my Yamaha 9.9 kicker. The boat's a '97, I bought it used, and I think the OMC trim/tilt unit needs the seals replaced. It leaks a little fluid around the shaft. Mine only has one switch, mounted at the console. I wish there was another mounted at the transom so I could raise/lower the kicker from the back of the boat like I can my big motor.

Having one of these is a great convenience if your motor is electric start with remote throttle at the console. It only takes seconds to switch from using the big motor to the kicker (and you never have to get up).
