You go Girls:-)
Congrats to both of you on making the first cut. I hope that the seas calm down enough on Friday so you're able to strut your stuff.
There are a lot of us that are cheering for you.

Hey Buddy! When are you comming down to bago? I only live about 30 minutes from Blackwolf Launch. Maybe we can have some MrPike races? Or we could see which MrPike can catch the most waldos?

Heck no, I won't charge you Mr. Pike, but, you should know before we go, that I do have a habit of making friendly little side bets while I'm fishing. It seems to make the fish bite my partners baits faster...;-)
Not to worry though, so far I'm down 15 bucks and two dinners. My luck has to change pretty soon, so you just might end up paying after all..heheh

Good job Gals, Juls I noticed before that you were only planning on the RCL Erie event, I see your in LAX now, just wanted your opinion on the RCL compared to other events. I will be at LAX, first timer, although competent fisherman and would like to know what the pro's expect from their co-anglers, diffentately going all out 110 percent. Hope the flow is down to a fishable level.

Since they cancelled the MWC event at Dubuque, I had an opportunity to fish the next RCL. Lucky Lucky me!!!! The folks at Operation Walleye do an outstanding job with their tournaments and make it a fun organized event for everyone.
I highly reccommend them to anyone who is thinking about entering one as a co angler.
As a Co Angler, your expected to do whatever your pro asks of you. (as long as it is legal of course..;-)).
When you get paired up with your pro the first night at the rules meeting, you meet with him and find out where to meet the next morning. You will exchange information (phone numbers of where your staying), and discuss, to some extent, what the game plan or techniques will be on the water the next day, so you know what to expect.
Communication is the key. If you do not understand something, ask! All the pros I have fished with have always been very open with their information. Some do things differently than others and you will need to know this. It is not your place to question him on any decisions he makes. This is their game and we are there, as co anglers, to help our pros, for that specific day...win. Period. We are also not allowed to discuss with our second day pro, what it was our first day pro was doing to catch fish. That's a big no-no. The placing of the co anglers has always been the "luck of the draw" and nothing more. Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes you don't. That's just the way it is.
If you go into this with the attitude of a team player, your going to do just fine. Just keep in mind the team has a captain and they get to make all the decisions.
Just keep yourself relaxed, and work hard, and your going to have one of the best experiences of your life.
The RCL RULES! heheh Good luck to you! See you at LaCrosse!
