i am looking for opinions on whether or not ball bearing swivels really do give better action on spinner rigs especially on longer ones that are about 8-10 ft long. also looking for a less expensive source for ball bearing swivels and a source for longer, up to 10ft long crawler rigs. i just paid $3.49 for 3-25lb swivels(ridiculous).

The price for quality items is never cheap. Go to www.lakesidefishingshop.com and browse their site. The store sells Sampo ball bearing swivels in bulk. You get about 25 for $19.00.
I have tried other ball bearing swivels, but nothing(so far) compares to Sampo.
On the harness rig problem. Make your own. It's cheaper and more rewarding when you catch fish off of something you made!
Just my $20.00 worth.
