Just a reminder as we all get ready for the upcoming fishing season – when you are going through all of your gear and taking stock of what you have and what you need, take a minute to check on your Guest charger and your batteries. Look at your ring terminal connections and clean if needed. Check the DC fuses; change if blown and clean if corroded. Look for any damaged wiring connecting the charger to AC or to the batteries. Finally, top off the water level in your battery, if necessary with distilled water. Any of the above conditions can cause your charger to work harder and/or longer and delay your fishing trip. And if you have any questions, concerns or need an application suggestion, please e-mail me at Guest at vfgst@aol.com or call me toll free at 1-888-483-7865 extension 135. Have a great season!
Very nice Sue. Some applies to all on board chargers of cousre, but Dual Pro and the others don't take the time and make the effort. I for 1 appreciate it very much. Tell your boss you got a big "atta girl" form Erie Tournament Troller.

Thanks for the reminder to us all, Sue! I will be buying a 2-bank charger soon (10 amps/bank) to charge my 24V system. My question is: Can I connect one of the banks to each battery and charge effectively, and safely, without disconnecting the jumper cable between the 2 batteries? Thanks in advance for your time.

Jim, Yes, you can. The 2620 (10 amps to 2 banks) charger has independent grounding so that the charger does not "see" the jumper wire. All you need to do is to wire up the charger and plug it in at the end of the day.
Sue,
Great job keeping in touch with your companies user base! It is a pleasure to see someone(perhaps a company) make the effort! Kudos to you!
A question... on my 2631, will any harm come from charging only one (or two) batteries with the last set of leads unattached?

Stan, Not a problem to leave one output on the 2631 unhooked as the charger contains three separate chargers in the one housing. I would suggest taping the leads off to prevent them from shorting. Have a great day!
