Thanks Denny! I really don't know where to start....our poor results on the last day are going to eat at me for a long, long, time to come. I also feel for my partner Tim Herink. He's really a great guy and I know we could have done better than we did!

Thanks guys for the kind words. Well, this was quite an experience. I never expected it to turn out this good. You can bet I can't wait for the RCl at LaCrosse. It will be tough to match the experience at Port Clinton, but I'll try.

What happened to Tim Herink??? he had some awesome weights the first two weigh-ins. Can you share where you fished and presentation in a general sense...please. Thanks. I was pulling for Tim to make a top five showing.

Thanks for the kind words Drift'r. I headed out Easter morning to go visit relatives in MI and just got to read this.

The RCL is an awsome circuit guys and gals! It is very well run by folks thta know what they are doing.

All I can say is if any of you ever thought about trying a tournament as an amatuer/co-angler I would urge you to get into this circuit post haste. No where else can a Co-angler make money fishing. The only other Pro-Am circuit of this caliber hands you a bunch of prizes which can be nice as well but I for one prefer to have the cash so I can buy what I want or need not be handed something I may or maynot ever use.

One last thing: The RCL is also to be commended in that they reffer to the amatuer as the co-angler not an Amatuer! This promotes a sence of equality among the co-anglers and not just the feeling that I am only there to allow the pro to have 2 more lines to use. All in all this is a great circuit and like I said before if you ever thought of entering a tournament of an extreemly high claibre then this is the one you should get into with out a doubt.

We just couldn't get on the active fish. Went to our location from the second day and the water had changed a little. However, Ronnie Rhoads fished just a mile away and his fish were still there and hit on the basically the same presentation but we couldn't buy one. So we moved back to our first day spot(14 miles away)with hopes that the water would have cleared some and the fish would be active. No such luck. We kept on trying different things just one of those days!!!
