RCL - Thanks Mark Presta - Red Ranger

I was fortunate to draw Mark Presta as my partner for Day 1 of the RCL on Erie. We had a great day 1 landing all 16 fish we hooked and upgrading to 44+ pounds and a tie 8th place . While we were not able to get the right program going for day 3 to make the top 12, I had a great time fishing with Mark and encourage anyone that is considering fishing the RCL to take advantage of the opportunity that Walmart, Ranger, Crestliner, Lund, Mercury, Yamaha, and the other sponsors are providing. Port Clinton, OH - The Walleye Capital of the World - did a great job of hosting this event. Thanks to everyone that was involved in making the RCL possible!

How did the draw work? Do you fish with the same pro for all three days, or a different pro each day like the PWT? Wished I could have fished the tournament.

Everyone is supposed to fish the first two days. Blind draw for first two days. Co Anglers weight carries over from day 1 to day 2. After day 2, the top 60 Pros are matched up with the top 60 Co Anglers by weight to fish Day 3. Day 3 everyone starts back at zero. Top 12 weights advance to the final day with the same partner you had for day 3. Day 3 also starts back at zero weight.

If there are no cancellations due to weather and you make the cut to top 60, you'll fish with 3 different pros.

Because day 2 was cancelled due to lake conditions, top 60 Pro and Co Angler weights to get to day 3 were all based on day 1 results which is why everyone fished with the same partner all 3 days on Erie.
