Some will find this funny I do. Was out fishung the Detroit yesterday, and my buddy hooks a good one 9-10#s, Me being king net man tried to one hand it. Big mistake, flipped it by by fish hello swear swords. Proceeded to listen to the usual I did my job, what were you doing, for three or four minutes. I apologized and gauranteed I would use 3 hands from now on. This did not stop the attack. So I had to remind someone, who was the one who pushed the swamp we call s*tans swimmimng pool the last day of gun season last year, destroying theyre waders to get swamp thing out, and WHO rattled off 3 shots at under 70 and couldn't hit anything but tree. All is forgiven.

My brother and I have that same battle going back and forth! If it isn't a missed duck, it's a mis-netted walleye or muskie. Sometimes it's even NOT on purpose! ha!

It keeps the times fun and keeps the stories entertaining. And that's the real purpose anyhow, for us at least.

Good fishing!

btw - We took a boat out yesterday on Keller/Gervais/Spoon lakes in Maplewood. The only lakes we could find that was open. Didn't fish, but there are tons of loons, mergansers, bufflehead, bluebills and ringbill around! A great time of year! :)

one way to stop all that is to come up with a fine system for doing things like that. Like a $50 dollar fine for one handing a fish that gets away. A buddy and 18 of his friends go to SD hunting every fall. They have put this to use on their 3 day hunts. For example it's a $50 fine for turboing a pheasant.(shooting it too close to you and blowing it up) A fine for missing on all 3 shots. A fine for your dog chewing up a bird. etc. etc. etc. But last year they had to assess a guy $200 dollars when his dog peed on both legs of a guy. He didn't even argue and just paid the fine. At the end of the trip they take all the money and donate it to the Kimbal SD High School Athletic Club. I think they donated nearly $2000 last year.

Did the guy deserve what he got when fido did a number on him..........I have hunted with dogs for years and they are a good judge of character. A number of years back my partner missed three times on an easy pheasant on a hot day when the dogs were working hard....we took a break...put the guns against a fence post..the lead dog did a number on my partners gun. We all understood.........

too funny. The dog first peed on one leg and the guy didn't notice so he stepped forward and peed on the other when he finally figured it out. I guess everybody was on the ground rolling.
