Garmin 240...your thoughts??

I will be attending our local boat show in the near future, and will probably be buying a new unit. I am torn between the Garmin 240 and the X-85. I like the stats on the Garmin, and also the fact that I could save about 200 "Canuck bucks" if I go that route. But, like everyone else here, I also don't want to have to second-guess my decision when it's too late. Any "hands-on" experiences with either units would really be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
