Best Trolling Battery and Charger?

I am wanting to purchase a battery for my 36lb. trolling motor. What should I look for and what brand seems to produce the best. Also, what should I want in a battery charger. I have seen chargers ranging from $300 to as little as $24. I know you usually get what you pay for, but what would anyone recommend.

One boat company is. Tuffy moniters this board all the time and they do pay attention to what guys are looking for in boats. If they miss it, I don't and it gets back to Tuffy anyway.
