I plan on fishing Lake Erie next weekend for the first time on Western basin; where is best place to launch and fish. thanx.

We use the ramp at DUFFYS in ahmerstburg, right at the end of the Detroit river. You have to buy a key from the hardware store for it I think its $25, good deal for the year. You can fish the river, or go out to the lake a good spot to try is right off the islands into the lake for a couple kms, nice big reef and usually holds alot of fish. Remember 4 fish limit until may 1.
