My brother brought a Lowrance 2330 flasher to Easter dinner yestersay with an interesting problem - it wouldn't turn on. The unit has two knob groups. The top group mearly adjusts the depth scale. The bottom group has an outer knob which is the suppressor, and an inner knob which adjusts the sensitivity. The outer knob (suppressor) moves freely nearly 360 degrees. The inner knob (sensitivity) won't move an inch. I'm assuming the inner knob also is the power switch, and should turn the unit on as the knob is rotatied clockwise past the "off" position. Like I said, that knob won't budge, other than the small amount of freeplay in the knob itself.

Am I overlooking something really obvious??

my cousin has one of those,it's a nice flasher! maybe the switch burned up or had some kind of melt down? all else fails take it apart and look inside. i wouldnt imagine that switch would cost too much. call fish lectronics nice guy there he could probably get the switch for you if that is all it is. make a little jumper to determine if you can turn it on without the switch, maybe you can do that. i would guess it is just some kind of potentiometer.
