Just purchased a used boat with a 1994 115 hp Yamaha outboard used 50 hrs. Does any one have any pros, cons or other information about these 115 Yamaha outboards.

De-tuned 130 hp. Bullet-proof. Excellent motor.
We rarely have to work on a 115 Yam.

I got one on the used 1775 Pro-V that I bought last year. It's been an absolute honey so far. I asked around before buying it and heard the same things that TerryMac said.
