Where do you live? You can find them in Bemidji, MN (Cabilkas?) or at Striefs Sporting Goods in Warroad, MN.

I've seen them at Dick's Sporting Goods in Vestal and I'm pretty sure you can get them at Wildmans Bait Shop in Ithaca (right on the canal). I've tried them on Erie for eyes, but they don't work very well. I don't think the action is tight enough. I'd stick with Stingers for eyes and use the Suttons for lakers. Good Fishing, Sluggo

LAST EDITED ON Apr-18-01 AT 05:12AM (CST)[p]I also use them for fishing lakers. I ordered some online last spring from PeacePipe Fishing Outfitters and was very happy with their service and delivery time. Web address is www.fish307.com/
they are also sold in Grand Marais MN.

MF;
I use them almost exclusively under the ice. They are awesome on Lake of the Woods for walleyes. Can't remember the exact model but they're silver front and brass back.

I haven't used them much in the summer. They are light and I have a hard time keeping them vertical in the lightest of winds. I know if I could overcome that they would work. Don't have a idea if they work behind downriggers.

Good Luck.

I mostly fish Lake of the Woods, which is a stained water lake. My personal preference is to use a wide, light flutter spoon in water like that. Sutton's work great up here in 10 - 14 ft of water. Tip it with a minnow head. In clear water I put on something a little narrower and heavier. For some reason it seems to work a little better.
