I hear this motor with this add-on system will allow you to slow troll the big Optimax (150 in my case) down to 400 rpm. This should negate needing a kicker motor.
Sounds to good to be true. Has anyone run this system yet that can provide any details? I'm a little wary of buying anything like this the first year it's released.
I hear the add-on is about $750 but I'm not sure how much more a Digital Optimax is compared to the standard analog one is...any feedback?
