What unit are you trying to program? You can try your factory customer service or your local sporting goods.

I don't know if I could be considered a wizard, but I have worked with the IMS software on several units over the past couple of years. What seems to be your problem?

If i have a trail, way points saved on a current 'detailed downloaded map' on the GPS how do you transfer back to the unit? So the next time that you 'download' again all the information will be there. Also do you know of any software that has lake details already loaded ie creek channels, etc... that will download? This is a start of my questions i have more if you would like you can email me. So far i think the GPS is great but the interface software is somewhat lacking. I guess that i should have been a programer... Thanks for the reply.

Your question is not clear. Is the data on the PC or the unit.
Is the data on the unit ready to be xfrd back to the pc. With all data as is. Then later to xfr to the unit from the PC when the time comes to do it. I E-mailed you. you can ask questions om managing your waypoints as folders and maps. And what exact unit you have.
