I called pinpoint about the cable and they said it was available ,But the price for the cable and software was 99.00 .Is the software a big program or something ? I am thinking its just a simple program with a rs32 cable ??

It's not an rs-232 cable. It's actually a connector for your locator on one end, and a com port connector for your computer and a plug in for your wall on the other.
I just got my locators today so I haven't even loaded the software yet.
I'll let you know what it's all about in a week or two.

I tried to email you but it came up no such user. I don't think $99 is too expensive. It sounds about right to me for cableing and software.
