Prop Balancing

Just got my SS High 5, 21 pitch prop back from the repair place. New last year. Took the prop in before our season opens to have some scratches from a sandstone rock (about the size of a golf ball) buffed out of the finish. When the prop was placed on the balancer to check the balance, TWO of the blades where quite a bit heavier than the others. You would think that the prop should have been balanced from the factory. Had the balance problem corrected but was wondering if anyone else has had a similiar surprise?

I did the same thing with a high five. Before I took it in I thought it was perfect, maxed out at 5500, after I was told it was out of balance and had it fixed I maxed out at 5700. Go Mercury?????
