I retire the end of next year and plan on spending
a lot of time on Lake Powell. I want to buy a cuddy cabin that I can sleep on. I want a boat
that I can park on the beach at night. I know that
if you drive a glass boat onto the beach it chips
and aluminum just scratches. I will want a boat
that is about 25 or 27' long and is an outboard.
I want a boat that I can trailer from Grand Junction to Lake Powell. Your thoughts and
suggestions please. Houseboat has crossed my mind
but they are too big to trailer and too expensive
to moor.

My dream cuddy would be a 24' Grady White w/ walk around cuddy. W/ a keel guard as discussed in other post, this would be the real deal for fishing or pleasure boating. Only problem is they are very spendy!! There are other less expensive versions around but I would go w/ a glass walk around for this, more options and they don't blow around as badly (and I am a Lund owner).
