Does anyone have any information regarding Cajun walleye boats, in regards to durability, performance and quality? I'm considering buying a
1995 Cajun w/ a 175 Mercury EFI? Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

I've got a buddy thats run a Cajun for the last 5 or 6 years. His boat has a 175 Mariner EFI. I've fished out of his boat quite a bit and have some general comments for you. Pros: stable solid fishing platform that will handle big water with no problem, fairly dry, not the fastest hull but quick enough. Cons: not quite enough storage for my taste, the V really cuts the water but tends to roll the boat quite a bit when drifting, the livewell lids suck - you get water popping the tops off every time you excellerate onto plane (easily fixed with gasket and a lid latch). Make sure you check the glass thoroughly - Cajun did not have a history of glass problems but it is a used boat. The guys that have run a Cajun always liked them and there are a lot of worse choices out there. If it's in good shape go for it.
