Hello: For you folks that live in Bayfield, Washburn or Ashland is the Bay open yet; and are people trolling for lakers and salmon? Thanks for the info!

There's a good thread on this subject on that other site (i.e. Lake-Link). Basically, it sounds like the bay is still locked up in ice.

Hello from Ashland!
C-Bay has about 16" (?) of ice but is opening up at Fish Creek and power plant. Predict 10 days to two weeks before it goes out.
Lake low but not as low as last year.
