How do theses rods run as far as actions go, are they pretty much what they say. What do you guys use for jigging, and rigging rods as far as model numbers go in the Techna AV line. Thanks

Hi I have 2 AV's and LOVE them both one is 6'6" triger stick avc mf 1/4 5/8 8 to 17 line, this rod is good for a # of things, deep jigging is best. (can feel a laker pick your 3/4oz. jig off the bottom in 90ft. like nothing!!)and set the hook w/ LOT'S of power! The other is new and has only a little use,so far (ice go away!!!) it's 6' spinning used to regular jig and work husky jerks avs mf 1/4 5/8 6to 15. I would say in m.h.o. the rods are VERY FAST not just fast, and are VERY VERY sensative I also own Gloomis rods gl3 and IMX and I got another AV that say's it all!!!

I have 2 6'6 MF - spinning. Great rods. 6lb line & 1/8 ounce jigs, lots of feel and back bone.
