Starcraft 180 Tournament

Hello. I am a novice and I would like some advice. I am considering buying a 1998 Starcraft 180 Tournament from a private party. It has a 175 hsp Mercury motor. It is in excellent shape and it seemed to run very well during the test drive. The guy wants $18,000 for the boat.

I visited Starcraft's web site and they do not seem to make the model any longer. In fact, it looks like all of their Walleye boats are now aluminum.

Anyone have any input on the boat, motor or price? Thanks in advance for any help.

looked at one today in fargo ND. new a 2 year hold over with a 150 efi not real impressed with it seemed cheap to me hatch lids were broken and no real support built in I ive looked at a lot of boats this spring and this one is at the botton of the list. and new never been in the water was cheaper than 18.000
