Caulking below water line.

What is the best type of caulking or glue to use in the screw holes when mounting transducers on the transom? I have a fiberglass boat.

Hey Eric,

There are a few products around, made especially for the Marine industry. Most boat supply stores have them, so do many boat dealers.

I often use aquarium sealant. This is 3m silicone made for underwater use.

3M 5200, works great! Make sure you mount everything exactly where you want it because it's as close to permanent as you can get.
