Bow that they are actually in production, does anyone of you have one yet, and if so what do you think of them so far?

i have the 74AP on a 620 vs ranger and absolutely love it. fished from 7 am until 4 pm at 50% power all day and it still had over 5 hours of battery life at present speed. it will pull my ranger over 4 mph on calm water, and the automated in/out of water is a dream come true. it is large, but it is amazing and by far the best on the water right no IMHO.

I ordered one with my Ranger 619 but they are not avalible(out of stock) in most dealers so I got Maxxum 101 36V foot control. I heard that AP future is sometimes working funny and it is not as dependeble and responsiv as foot control.

My best fishing buddy just got one for his Ranger 690. He got the 24V 74AP which has a 60" shaft. It is huge, entire motor is 72" long. It worked OK for one day, then he had trouble with the foot pedal. The on/off switch is glitchy and the Right Steer button quit working. Also, he had to take it to an authorized MinnKota service center to have his Lowrance transducer installed. He was charged $65 for that. His complaint is that MinnKota doesn't reveal the need to have a dealer install the transducer in any of their advertising. He got his motor from Cabelas.
