I am looking for someone or some Company that makes jigs with lite wire Quality hooks.I am looking for some ideas of what kind of heads and what size wire hooks to use in different situations. I used a head that was kind of a darter head with 4 or 5 sides to it.Does anyone know what these are called or where I can get them.I will be using say 1/16 and maybe 1/8 oz. jigs for redtails and other presentations. I am new to the fine species of Walleye and need help. I hate commercially made jig because of their heavy hooks and junky heads.here is a great jig site for bass jigs tacklethis.net = Here is my E-mail adress if you make your own and are willing to sell me a few dozen.Basscaster2@aol.com =Thanks, Roy -new walleye fisherman.

Ray, having fished for walleyes all over the country I decided to start making my own jigs, I use light wire eagle claw hooks and make my own and sell some to other anglers. If you want to write me back I will email you and then send a couple to try. Use 1/8 and 1/4 most of the time. Also have some new 4 colored jigs that really worked for me this last year. Write and let me know where to send you a couple to sample. Stan
