View Full Version : ford explorer
i have a 1993 ford explorer xlt, 5 speed manual transmission trailer tow, 140,000 miles and still in pretty good condition for the amount of miles. i've checked edmunds, kbb and nada and get a trade in value ranging from $2950 to $6000. has anyone traded a similar vehicle lately? what should it be worth? thanks a lot.

Dont trade it you'll get more money if you sell it outright!!
On another note keep it, I've got a 94 ExplorerXLT 174,000,000
miles and it's just broken in.
I tow a 1775 pro-v 115 & 9.9 4 stroke.
The only thing I've had to replace is tires ,upper and lower ball
joints & shocks.

Lundy is right. Sell it yourself. Go Go to Kellys Blue Book on the net and punch in your zip and the particulars of your vehicle and you'll get the sale value. I've used it several times as a tool for selling my vehicles. By the way, I own a 1994 Bronco for my tow vehicle. Smart looking class act. Good luck.
