does this require any special tools or nohow, or is it as simple as trailer axle seals, thinking of saving some $$$ any advice appreaciated!! thanks minneman

Can't believe that REW has not posted with good info. Maybe more info needed. What motor is it. (ie Make, HP, Year, etc)
Most shaft seals are simple. I have done my share over the past 15 years and have not run into and real problems.
If you are handy with tools and have a good mechanical sence, have at it.
It helps to have a shop manual handy, but that is sometimes hard to find. Check with the local Library.

yes i suppose make and model would help! its a 35 hp merc tiller- 1984, it looks like it would be easy, im kinda mech. minded but thought i should get some first hand advice, thanks minneman
