I'm trying to divide up my many tackle boxes into species specific bags, bass, walleye, panfish etc

obviously some things work for both walleyes and bass, but I fish for bass on my local lake more frequently than walleyes in other places.

Since I'm trying to trim my walleye tackle down so I can carry it in a smaller bag for travelling, what do you consider the absloute must carry crankbaits (size and color) for walleyes? Mostly casting, but with some trolling as well.

Thanks and good fishing

My favorite casting crank is the rattling fat rap#5. But here are some other EXELLENT CHOICES Bomber long A rattling shad raps walleye divers shad raps & origanal floating & countdown rapalas. Size and color are personal preferances. Yet you can not go wrong with fire tiger perch or black and silver. Hope this helps. Do you have any tips for must have bass baits? I fish the missippi all the time for walleyes mostly and bass sometimes.

My first choice would always be #5 & #7 shad raps in shad, crawdad or firetiger.

I always reach for a Wally Diver before anything else. I own a bunch of crankbaits but day in day out the Wally Diver works best. Second? Probably a Hot n Tot.
