I am running a Triton 205 DCF with a 225 Optimax and have the boat fully loaded & a 15hp 4 stroke Mercury on the back. I am looking to put a High 5 23" prop on this setup and was wondering if someone is running the same setup and what kind of top end RPMs are you turning? Is the 25" a better prop for this set up? I am currently running a Tempest Plus 23" which is very fast but to slow out of the hole.

Also which brand transom saver are you using? Most have a MAX length of 36" which puts my gear case to close to the road for my comfort.

Thanks for the help!
Dave

Iam running the exact same boat.As I have mentioned on this board before, the only prop to run on that beast is the High 5 25pitch.It will rocket you out of the hole.My top speed is 65.2 GPS with a full load.I was lucky enuff that my dealer runs the same boat and tried every prop made. The only prop he puts on the 205s is the high five.Try it you will never look back.I was in a bass tourney last week and the guy next to me told me see ya later as we were ready to blast off,I smoked him out of the hole.I can't belive every dealer does'nt sell the 205 with a high 5.SEA YA

I run a 23 pitch high five on my Triton 205 with a 225 FICHT. The high five has improved hole shot tremendously and has been great in rough water.
Good Luck,
