Have a 19' aluminum boat that the plywood flooring is starting to rot. its coverd with carpeting which i really dont like. Always preferred non-slip glass in my boats.
I was wondering if one of these "do it yourself" truck bed liner coatings would work well applied over treated plywood? Or...having it applied by a regular applicator. any thoughts???
thanks!

Alot of larger boats have a material called "Nautalux" (not certain of the spelling). It's a heavy vinyl availabe in various colors including one called nightcrawler as well as the more traditional bleached teak look. Good luck
It sounds like a great idea. If the bed liner will hold up to hundreds of lbs of "load" - there is no reason to believe that a liner of this type wouldn't work just fine for the floor of your boat.
If you really wanted to make it permenant -- add a few extra ribs, supports for the seat bases, and then simply put in an aluminum floor. Never have to replace the floor again.
Take care

Not really interested in real permanent..probably wont have the boat all that much longer. I'll look into both the liner and the stuff ETT mentioned. thanks for your input.
