Hi Folks,
I have a Lowe Roughneck Tunnel Jet w a 90 HP Johnson Jet on the back. This boat has two 17 gal fuel tanks mounted in the stern. There is a seperate fuel line with bulb and connector for each tank. I want to set up some sort of T control valve so I can just turn the switch when I want to change over to the second tank. Please advise as to how I do this and where I can get all the parts I need.
Thanks in advance. This is a great board.

I have that set up for two six gallon tanks in my Lund. I bought a T-valve and ran a line from each tank to each side of the valve. Then the line to my motor has the primer bulb. When one tank runs out or gets low I just turn the valve to the other tank. I bought mine at a Mercury/Mariner dealer here in Indianapolis. About any marine dealer will have one or can order you one. You might even try West Marine on-line.

I have a 70 hp O/B and a 4 horse kicker. Since I didn't want a separate tank, I used a marine switch valve with the primer bulb BEFORE the "T".
All I do is prime the big motor and then switch it to the kicker when I need it..I prime the second one. A Merc. mechanic warned me about using a "T". He said that if you don't use a switch valve and only use the "T" you will suck the diaphram out of the non-running motor...JM
