I just got my boat out of storage and it has mold and mildew on the dash and all the vinyl. Anyone have a suggestion on how to clean this off???Thanks in advance Jimbo
Bleach.
Mame up a mild solution of bleach and water - spray on - let sit for a few minutes an d wipe off.
If it doens't come off the first time fairly readily, increase the amount of bleach in the mixture.
Worst case - and particualarly for the dash and non vinyl object, you can use straight bleach.
Mold and mildew is nothing more than a spore that the bleach will kill instantly and basically dissolve away.
When, you are finished, go over all the vinyl and dash with a coat of Armor all - or equivalent to restore the moisture in the vinyl and to protect the dash.
You can use the same thing when cleaning your shower or tub.
Quick inexpensive and cheap.
