Does anyone know of current water conditions in these waters? That is; are the levels and flows at fishable status?
Thanks in advance.

I have not been to Petenwell for a week Water was high but they were fihing. I have been told this week that fish are being taking in numbers, but not much for size. Sorry I couldn't be more help. Heres a couple places at Petenwell to call and get a report for Petenwell area. Petenwell Sprort Shop 608-564-7707 or Bay Rest Resort 1-800-562-7020. They may be able to help with Castle Rock information. Good Fishin

A friend of mine with a cabin at Castlerock was there much of last week and caught a mess of fish. I saw him at the Kenosha harbor on Sat.
I drove yesterday from SE Wis to central Minn on I-94. The high water I observed was in far western Wis and in Minn. The water in the Lyndon Station area was high, but nothing approaching what I've seen previously.
Incidentally, the Root River and the Pike River -- the two major trout and salmon streams in SE Wis, are so low there is barely a trickle of current. And, Lake Michigan itself is lower than it was last fall. There will be a lot of unused launch ramps on Lake Michigan again this year unless some water gets into the Great Lakes system.
