SNOW?!?! 6-12 inches!?

We are in a winter (spring?) snowstorm watch. I just heard we are expecting 6-12 inches of snow. WOW! I think I am going through depression right about now. I don't even know if ice will be off the local lakes by the first week of May!? Good thing there is global warming because if there wasn't we might have to trade the boats in for snowmobiles with kickers on them. Should only need about a 3hp for a craft that small :)

I think it is time to pick up a few new bad habits and rekindle a few old habits.

and just where are we? we have gotten one heck of a lot of rain here in east central mn. half way between princeton and cambridge. our creek is back over it's banks and the culverts can't pass the water fast enough so the ditches are filling up!

Snow started a couple of hours ago......we got 4in down and still coming down hard. Going to be a late spawn this year for shure. The walleye are going to get pounded on the opener.

Well here on Leech lake,,, schools are canceling and I can see 6 inches and its comeing down hard. Boat is uncovered,,,,,,,,what a mess.

12 inches here in the rural parts of Hawley,MN. No school either. BUT I HATE SNOW! I want everything to unthaw and to go fishing.

Man, I sure hope that STUFF stays away from here. It was sunny and seventy here yesterday and today's suppose to go even higher.
Still got snow in the woods and gullies but it sure is looking better than it was. My sympathy to all who have been dumped on again. It sure has been a looonnnnnnngggggggggggg winter...
