Welp, coming back from my big 2 week Minnesota vacation, I must have went through about 10 or 11 fuses. Obvious short. Had a new coupler with a
brake actuator put on the trailer right before the trip, so the usual culprit of a loose ground wire was immediately ruled out.
Took the boat in to the trailer place today to look into the apparent wiring problem and another
problem I had with the coupler on the trip (Yeah, it was one of those kinds of vacations).
When I went to pick up the boat a little later, I inquired on the source of the problem. The trailer shop owner beamed a wide grin and said it was better show me.
Seems like some rodent type critter was making a new home out of my trailer frame and sharpened his teeth on my right turn signal/brake wire.
Go figure!
