I now have a 1998 2-stroke, 9.9 Evenrude, remote, which runs great. Have a chance to up grade to 2000 Evenrude 4-stroke for 1100.00 difference. Should I do it? Help please.
Is there something about the 2 stroke that you don't especially like? If you have no particular reason that you are not satisfied with the 2 stoke you have, I don't see any reason to change it. You won't get that 1100 back out in resale, and $1100 buys lots of other nice toys.
