I can't seem to figure out how to download geographic boundaries from the Mapcreate CD into my LMS 160. Is this even possible? It would be immensely helpful if I could identify certain borders (Ohio, Canada) on the mapping screen. I'd appreciate any guidance.
The easiest way to do this is to create two maps - then down load them separately.
When each map is loaded it creates a boundry line - that is visable in the zoomed out mode.
You need to manually generate the boundary line - when you create the map.
Then simply download each map and you will be good to go.,

Try going to their web sight. www.lowrance.com I believe they have an excellent tutorial that will walk you through how to do it.
