View Full Version : Roadwing mudflaps
Has anyone used these. They attach to the receiver for your hitch. Are they durable and do they prevent rock chips on the front of your boat?

I think they are great! The flaps are wide, long and will
protect your rig. The unit will last forever. I spent $150.00
at Cabelas and my brother looked at it and made his for $15.00
either way, they work great......

Great Product! I have a set on my Ford. They provide excellent protection and you can pull the receiver pin and remove them in seconds. The flap material is very heavy and they ship them out long so you can shorten them to fit your application. I agree they would be rather easy to duplicate....JC
These aren't the flaps you were talking about but a new product I saw on my last swing through Montana. T-Mac at Townsend Marine had a set on a Ranger and they impressed the heck out of me. Fully adjustable and a very neat package. You can see them at http://www.townsendmarine.com/bulletins.htm

Bought a set a Cabela's for $149 last week and put them on to tow my new Ranger back from Arkansas and I think they work great. I have seen others that were homemade that looked pretty good, but I lost all my tools in a fire last fall so I have to buy everything now, for a while a least. I like the fact that they can be taken on and off easily.
