Minn-Kota On Board Battery chargers opinions

I need opinions on the Minn-kota Mk 330 three bank battery chargers. Good, bad, in -different.

Brian, Just installed my 330.Well, the 330 has 6 1/2 ft leads.Not to convient on my boat.I moved the batteries around with the portable gas tank and ok.My problem was with extending the front lead.Minn kota voids the 2 year warranty if you splice the leads.you must keep the ring connecters on and go through a terminal box.Still can't find a box to accept the large rings.After I was all done, one of the rear leads worked for a day then quit? I need to tear it all out and take it back. I'm not very happy. goose925 they seem like a good unit but not being able to splice the leads sucks.

I purchased an MK 220 last June and it lasted a month, the replacement that they sent me is begining to act up also. I talked to the folks in Mankato and I will be getting my money back this time. Enuf said.

thanks guys I think it's safe to say I'll stay away from the Minn-Kota battery chargers. Love there T-motors though. I love this board.
