Had to add one to my 150 Opt.that I'm running on a 1950 lund with a 15hp. kicker . Goes on plain faster and can keep bow down at slower speeds in 3 to 5 footers . 1950 is heavy in bass end . Lost maybe 3mph w.o.t ,witch was a good trade .I tryed several diferent props before I decided to drill holes in my motor . Dealers and mechanics all told me to get a bigger motor ;that's not your problem though . Also much more stable ziggen & zaggen in heavy seas . Last word on bigger motor is I fish the great lakes ,I don't race them .I also like getting 3-4mpg..Hope my long wind-ed reply is of some help .Annes Regret

I have the same rig & I'm courious as to why you want to put a hydrofoil on? I had a porpoiseing problem at mid range speeds but changing props took care of that. e-mail me at theese@tconl.com
