Does anyone have the 1-800 numbers for any of those companies?

Reeds is 1-800-458-1205

Can't help ya with Motorguide, which should also be Pinpoint.

Have you slept in the new rig yet?! :)

No, but I've dripped sweat, blood, and tears on it already installing fishfinders, ram mounts, etc. Really haven't used it much cuz Motorguide won't make the fricking bow mount that I've already paid for. I ordered an Excel from Reeds about two weeks ago. I got the pinpoint 7420, but really can't install it or the rod holders up on the bow till I have the motor. I already have the two 27 series batteries and the Charge Pro charger mounted in the bow.

All I've been able to do is take the boat out and drift or anchor. I've trolled a little bit with a bag out, but still a little fast for this part of the season.

When I ordered the motor from Reeds, they said it would be shipped to me on April 24. Now the date is May 1. Sounds like Motorguide is having trouble with project management.

Wouldn't mind receiving interest on my $1,000 that Reeds has though.

Eric- I just received my Excel from MotorGuide yesterday. Mine is the 109# 36volt with a 60" shaft. Perhaps yours is on the way too. My initial impressions are WOW! this is a neat product. I really like the pedal. Goodbye clunky cable steer. My only problem is that I don't have a boat to put it on yet. C'mon Tracker! Hey at least you are in the water...

Also expect to lose at least 90% of your top end speed...this thing weighs a ton. :-) JC

Okay, someone is jacking with me. Reeds says that motorguide hasn't made any excels with 60" shafts yet. I hate these office people that feed me full of crap. If they don't know what the deal is, then tell me ya don't know. I will try Cabelas and see if they have one in stock.

Thanks

Eric, they might be jacking you around. I personally know two guys who have received their Excels with 60" shafts (both 24V). One came from Reed's and the other came from Cabela's...JC

Okay, now I'm one spring fevered pissed off polish-norwegian. Cabelas has a EX82SP/50" in stock but none with 60" shafts.

Hey, how much do you think that thing weighs?

The number for Motorguide, and Pinpoint is 800-474-7550. Ordered a Excel from Bass Pro a month ago came in 4 days. After realizing their was no mount in the box, and the motor head rattled like a morroca from serious UPS handling the second one showed in 4 days. Bass Pro has the cheapest price, must be getting a discount no one else can.

A total guess would be at least 70#'s or so if not heavier. Check your email. JC
