I'm in the market for a walleye boat and i figuered this would be the best place to leran about the best boats out there. I'm looking at the Triton 189 and want to know if anyone has any pros/cons on the boat. Any info will be a great help. I plan on buying and keeping it for an exstended period so I want to get the right boat for my family. I'm on the west coast. Should I buy here or back east somewhere. I basically want the best deal..it doesn't matter where I buy it but I heard that Cali. has high prices. If you have any tips send it my way Thanks fellow Fish Hunters!!!

I have a 2000 189DC, with a 150 Yamaha HPDI on it. I'm running in the low 50's on a gps with a full load. The boat has been flawless so far. The dry storage is dry, and the fit and finish is super. The only thing I needed to do out of the ordinary when I bought the boat was to install a fin the the cavitation plate of the motor to help hold the bow down when going in real rough water. The ride is very dry and smooth. I would recommend this boat to anyone.
