I want to buy a garmin 160 blue depthfinder online but everywhere I check is out of stock or will not get them until the end of May. Does anyone know where I can pick one up NOW as opening day is only 10 days away!?!
Thank you.

I have had good luck with Consumers Marine Electronics. They are based in New Jersy and target the salt water products a little more than inland dealers. Since the target market for the 160 Blue is salt, they would be worth trying.

Here is their web site link. Their online ordering system does not show stock info and I don't see the "blue" model listed, but it is relatively new.

SeaCat,
I'm curious. What's the difference between the 160 Blue and the regular 160 or 240 Garmin? Is the transducer different or something? Deeper depth capability maybe? I guess my question is if the "Blue" is tough to get, why not a regular 160?

For your info. I just bought the Garmin 240 Plus and I love it. The difinition is great. And here is an unknown tip. If you go to the Garmin homepage there is a $25.00 rebate that says you have to enter a tournament to get but I sent it in anyway and had my check back in less than 2 weeks. I bought it from Cabela's which I happen to live within a couple of miles from here in Mich. The plus included the temp and speed but I am glad that I went the 240 over the 160. At Cabela's I was able to go into the store and play with them for a long time before I bought.
