I made the mistake of disconnecting the power from the unit BEFORE I shut it off. Any suggestions as to how to get it back in operation? Must I send it back to Bottom Line?

LAST EDITED ON Nov-26-00 AT 06:05PM (CST)[p]I would be very disappointed in a graph if just disconnecting the power would disable it -- have done it a few times on my units and never had a problem. My guess is that you probably just blue a fuse or a circuit breaker -- many units have one inline in the power lead or as a removable twist socket on the back of the graph.

DO NOT attept to open the unit yourself though! It is a sealed unit and has been filled with nitrogen gas to keep out moisture. Taking it apart releases the gas and there is no way to restore it in the field. Contact Cannon/BottomLine first.

BottomLine is a division of Cannon Downriggers. Their web site has an email address for support at:

www.cannondownriggers.com/html/contact_us.htm

Note: take out the spaces and "-" above it should read contact_us.htm, but he board messes up these things.
