View Full Version : Frank from TBay
Frank (or any others from the TBay area),
We are on our way from White River to Red Lake and are passing thru TBay; we will overnight in TBay. Last time thru the suggested lodging was the Valhalla Inn. VERY nice but much much more than we needed for a night's rest (ALSO OUT OF OUR WAY). Are there any suggestions that are closer to the 17/102 interchange or better yet, ON 102 north of town ?
Thanks a ton - I emailed the chamber of commerce with no luck.

The Landmark Inn is right at the intersection of 102 and Hwy 17. Toll free number 1 800 465 3950. They are a nice place with pool. Theres not really a lot else close by that looks good.
The marmot in the outhouse produced dozens of laughs with the boys I fish with. One of the guys choked on his beverage while I related the story to him. Thanks for sharing. Have a safe trip. For any travellers in this area.....Moose are on the move now .......Watch your driving at night especially. We get dozens of accidents every year with these critters. Have a good safe trip.

Thanks,
I'll give them a call today. We try to plan our trips to avoid night driving at all costs. One year, in June, we got a heavy snow and were late flying out from a lake N of Pickle Lk. We had to drive most of the distance from TBay to the Soo in the dark. That was a VERY scary trip. Now we all plan on an extra day.
Thanks again,
Steve
