Have you been off planet for awhilw :). It's old news now. Waiting to see who picks up the parts and no one knows what support current owners will get. It's a bad, and sad, situation.

i've heard that GENMAR is going to honor warranty work with the dealers to pickup part of the cost, till the new owner is announced......not to sure about 100 bids on OMC when it's supposed to go on the auction block.....
Talked to my OMC dealer today, have known him for many years, and he didn't seem worried. He said what you read on the internet is tabloid and he thinks OMC will come out stronger. They filed for restructuring bankruptcy not going out of business bankruptcy. On Jan. 24 it is open for bidding and the companies interested in buying OMC have more technology. Hope hes right as I'm an OMC man. Bill
Ebi, all the bids are to be in by Jan. 28, and all the new owners will be announced by Feb. 1, and all the proceedings as far as bankruptcy court will be finalized by Feb. 8th. OMC will come back better and stronger than ever before.
