[Schmidts Landing]

We have had a lot of calls in regard to the no-wake ruling for the opener on Big Stone. The Big Stone Co. sheriff called this afternoon and the no wake ruling will be taken off at 4:00pm on Saturday April 28th. Ramps and access will be limited the S.D. state ramp at Hiawatha beach and at Hartford beach should be operational. Our ramp at Schmidts Landing is operational with a launching dock and concrete ramp. As of noon yesterday Ortonville did not Know if they would have docks in at the foot of the lake. We have not heard from the Mn. state park so we don't know about that. Water levels are high but quite fishable in my opinion. I've been told water temp is around 45 degrees.
