I'm going to look at a used glass boat that was trailered quite a bit. It got pulled around to a lot of boat shows. It's got a well respected bunk trailer under it. I'm wondering if I should be concerned about damage that may have resulted from so much trailering. Thanks in adavnce to all who reply.

My 1990 Skeeter 135 has been trailered for well over 40,000 miles, without a problem. IMHO you can easily cause more damage in rough water then on the trailer.
Make sure you use transom tie-downs when towing.

I agree that trailering shouldn't cause any hull problems. Mine travels far and on some less than ideal roads with no noticeable problems. Transom tie downs are a must, they keep the boat from bouncing and also keeps dirt from getting between the hull and the bunks which could cause some abrasive action. If you "travel on the gravel" make sure you have some sort of flaps for your tow vehicle, mine is a full lenght rock gaurd I modified to extend closer to the ground and does a good job...Good luck...SkeeterBoy
