I am looking at buying a 9.9 honda for a kicker. How does everyone like there 9.9. I have a Johnson 2001 90 hp. It is black, do you think a honda kicker would look bad next to it.

I'd be more concerned about how a Johnson would look next to a Honda! Just kidding! Actually, I've run a Honda for years and have several friends with Honda kickers and have never heard a complaint except for the price and weight. I feel that the quality and reliability make up for both of these. Good Fishing, Sluggo
I use a 9.9 Honda, and like it. It's great on the gas too. Only problem I had was valves needed adjusted and fouled the plugs, only problem I'vd had for 2 years.
