PLANER BOARDS

CAN ANYONE TELL ME THE BEST PLANER BOARDS ON THE MARKET? I'M LOOKING AT OFF SHORES BIG BOARDS, AND THEIR PLANER MAST. ANYONE'S OPINION WOULD BE APPRICIATED! THANKS FRED

Fred, I have a cannon mast with the big super ski's, I've been using them for years they do a good job for me. I also hear the the big jon planer mast is a good setup. good luck

The Rod Maker Shop, (best tackle shop in Cleveland area) sell more Big Jon masts than any other. A lot of guys there run home made boards, but of the ready mades Prince Master Craft Tripple Skies are considered the best for big water and heavy duty use. (by that I mean running 30 jets or little Dipsys off the boards and trolling at up to 3 mph)

If you are a week end fisherman the Off-Shore stuff will do, but most of the more serious guys go this way.
